Institutional visit at the Adriatic LNG Terminal

Institutional visit at the Adriatic LNG Terminal

On April 4, 2017 the Prefect of Rovigo, Enrico Caterino and the Chief of Police Force, Salvatore Fabio Cilona visited the regasification terminal located off the Venetian coast. During the meeting the guests have been shown technical characteristics of the terminal and commercial aspects of the LNG market.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Prefect of Rovigo Enrico Caterino said: "I would like to thank the company that offered me the opportunity to visit a highly innovative plant that represents an excellence for the Polesine area and an essential strategic source for the energy supply of our Country. The attention that the company pays to safety in the workplace is admirable: Adriatic LNG combines technical and complex manufacturing processes with an organizational policy that promotes the protection and welfare of the staff. During the visit I had the chance to appreciate both the leadership talent and the high level of training of operators, whose professionalism is, for the company, a clear added value from a competitive point of view, but also a further guarantee of safety within extremely complex production cycles.”
