Adriatic LNG launches a Market Test on Long-Term Regasification Capacity

Adriatic LNG updates its Regasification Capacity available for subscription via the Long-Term allocation procedure “Open Season 2025”, which will be organized by the end of September 2025 (precise dates will be notified during the upcoming Summer).

The Open Season 2025 will consist of two phases, a Non-Binding phase for accreditation and a Binding phase for capacity booking during dedicated auctions. The relevant process will be outlined by the end of August.

From 16 June until 14 July 2025, we are inviting Market Operators to express their interest in Adriatic LNG regasification capacity by participating in a Market Test for two periods:

  • Period 1: from 2029 to 2034
  • Period 2: from 2035 to 2050.

Customers who are willing to take part in this Market Test are invited to fill in this Customer Form  by 14 July 2025 and submit to adriaticlng_openseason@adriaticlng.it their considerations on, among others: product types, capacity profile, contractual period and duration, gas specification requirements and any other comment they are happy to share with us.

Participation in the Market Test process does not result in a commitment for the Customer to participate in the subsequent bidding process. Adriatic LNG will not be bound to define its offer based on the results of this Market Test. Adriatic LNG will treat all received information as strictly confidential.

We value your input, and we thank you for your time and consideration.

The Non-Constant regasification capacity, as set forth with interministerial authorization decree No. 280 of 3 October 2023,  is not part of the Available Capacity offered.

The Terminal Capacity is determined by considering the technical and operational limits of the Terminal, send-out capacity, Storage capacity, and the available pipeline capacity at the Cavarzere Entry Point known at the date of this publication and taking into account the number and duration of Unloading Slots.
