“Games without barriers” with Down Dadi and Adriatic LNG

Now on its third year, the collaboration between Adriatic LNG and Down Dadi Adria Onlus, a non-profit organization committed to social inclusion for families with children with disability, grows stronger.

The second edition of “Games without barriers 2.0”, took place last August: a playful afternoon event open to 3 to 9 years old children with cognitive disabilities, along with their families.

Participants took part to a plenty of games, each aimed at enhancing one of the children’s abilities: agility, cooperation, creativity and more. At the end of the event, Down Dadi offered to all families prizes and bonus cards for the other events organized by the Association during the year, such as workshops and parenting courses. This way, children and families will continue together the journey they started by participating in the event.

The collaboration between Adriatic LNG and Down Dadi Adria Onlus started in 2016 with the “Dadi Adriatic LNG Recreational Center”, a space created to support families in the growth of their children. Thanks to the passion and commitment of the professionals and volunteers of Down Dadi Adria Onlus, the recreational center is now an asset for the local community.

The Recreational Center, a project that saw Adriatic LNG’s participation since the beginning, offers a variety of activities for both children and parents, such as educational and creative workshops, individual workshops and advisory. This year, to further support social integration, classmates of the children affected by cognitive disabilities will be involved in the weekly activities.
